It's Getting to Be That Time of Year

This Saturday is the Class Kickoff for holiday classes at Yellow Bird. Come by and see what you could make for yourself or for a gift. 10 AM Saturday, free make and takes!
I glued the patterned paper to the front of each envelope and added a few simple embellishments. The mini scrolls and snowflakes are all Maya Road. I used the Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear glue with all the glittered chipboard. If you haven't tried this glue, I highly recommend it. Makes working with glitter so much easier.

Each member of my family has a little pocket now to record our wishes. I gave my 3 year old blank cards to draw pictures of what she wished for. Down below is the list that I started for myself.

Here is something you will want to see in person, Flower Soft! This stuff is an amazing embellishment. You adhere it with a little bit of glue and it looks like tiny little flowers! It fluffs up a bit, so this small jar is all you need for a very long time.

Flower Soft is a must have for card makers and if you are just starting out, there are some amazing card sets you can get. Just add glue to the sweet graphics and embellish with the Flower Soft. Homemade cards in minutes.

There are a ton of Quickutz, for all your holiday needs. Love the reindeer head for Christmas cards and one of the smaller dies would work nicely on gift tags, I love the little present.

Take a Trip Down Maya Road with Yellow Bird

The end of September is drawing near, which means two months left until December and you know how crazy that gets. Are you making that special someone a gift from the heart? Have you tried making a chipboard album? How about a banner? There are plenty of Maya Road chipboard albums in stock to choose from. How about a banner made from the mittens and snowflakes, you could alternate shapes.

Maya Mists are an easy way to add color to your chipboard. Use an old box to do all your spraying in. Just lay the paper or chipboard down in the box and spray! Maya Mist is also perfect for masking with the fun Tim Holtz masks. You can also have fun with the mists by just spraying directly on to your cardstock. This can give your layout a freestyle and modern look. Try it!
New acrylic snowflakes...bet these would make great ornaments...

And finally the Maya Road stamps. Have you seen the BINGO set? The top is interchangeable so you can stamp a traditional BINGO card or have some fun with it and stamp DREAM across the top. Perfect for cardmakers and scrapbookers who like to layer their paper and embellishments.

Raise your hand if you need a cute place to store your scrapping tools. With the CI Bare Elements tote, you can even customize your tote to match your decor.
Love this paper? It's Cosmo Cricket Early Bird.

The pretty lace is available by the yard, made by Maya Road. The center of the crochet flower and the large polka dot brade were made with the Imaginesce I-Top brad maker. Super fun and easy tool to use.

That ruler stamp is also from Maya Road, so many possibilities with it.

This tote would also work great as the utensil caddy for a family buffet. You could load it up eith your envelopes, stamps and bills and use it as a little mail center.
